Pearls for a Purpose.
Our Purpose
The Pristine Pearls Project is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2018 by Macy Punzalan. The purpose of the organization is to help increase access to quality dental care through hosting oral hygiene collection drives and fundraising for dental clinics & patients in need by selling handmade pearl & porcelain jewelry and accessories.
About the Founder
Macy Punzalan is a graduate of the College of William & Mary where she received a Bachelors of Science in Public Health & Biochemistry. During her undergraduate years she developed a passion for fostering community engagement towards alleviating various public health and human rights issues both locally and on a global scale.
Macy received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of New England's College of Dental Medicine. She continues to play a role leading within organizations, facilitating volunteering events for her peers, and conducting research focused on access to care.
The Pristine Pearls Project is the perfect blend of her passions for community engagement towards public health issues, creativity as an outlet for wellness, and increasing access to dental care for all people.
